i have had approximately 20 servings of dairy today. and you know what? i don't give a fuck what anyone has to say about it. i enjoy my modified cow sweat, and nothing anyone says will stop my freakish and unnatural obsession with it.
in other news, dolsen's coming up tomorrow! i haven't seen him in over a year! he and kelly and i are probably gonna grab some food together (i have a feeling kelly and he will get along).
if you were curious as to why i alternate between people's real names and lj names, it's mostly because i'm lazy. when i tell stories, i think about these people in terms of their real names (obviously), and it's a hassle to switch to lj names. but, some of my friends have already gotten mad at me for using their real names, so i try to not be lazy when i'm talkign about them. i, personally, do not give a bloody fuck which name people use to refer to me as, but obviously not everyone is so laid back about that stuff.
oh oh! and i passed my world civilizations and the arts class after missing a presentation and three quizzes (out of two presentations and like five quizzes)!!!!! obviously i kicked major ass on the final. i so wasn't expecting to actually pass! i have no idea what i made in my other classes, because i only check grades if i'm scared i might have failed a class. i truly don't care whether i make a's or c's as long as i don't fail. i know that my gpa will never fall low enough to lose hope (for you nongeorgia people, it's a scholarship that requires you keep above a 3.2) because i'm not an idiot, and that's pretty much all i need to be concerned about with grades.
i'm the lowest maintainence girl ever.
regarding the lj names:
my friend cmpriest sometimes uses the person's realname but on first reference makes it a link for instance denny that way she can use their real name after that without having to keep using the lj name but there's also the link if anyone wants to check out their blogs.
"20 servings of dairy"? Are we talking about the little single serving pot things that you get given to put in coffee? I can't comment on that as I have an unnatural obsession with strawberry milkshake :P
I don't really care what people call me either, though I suppose I wouldn't put my real name in my userinfo if I did.
Good. You can have my share. I'm off dairy products (he says eyeing the 16-oz. iced cafe latte sitting on his desk.) OK, a little milk in my coffee but that's all.
Mind you, I love milk and cheeses and stuff, but it's this pesky diet I'm doing.
This isn't so much a lose-weight diet as an eat-healthier diet. I have felt better since I started it- I'm not as sleepy all the time and feel like I have more energy. I think I may have lost some blubber too, but that's by the way.
I agree with you that "life is meant to live it, not to diet" but I felt the need to do something good to/for myself.
i can see that. people ride my ass constantly about eating healthier, i think that's why i have such a problem with it. if i don't want to eat broccoli and i've made it clear that i don't want to eat broccoli, then i don't want to be bothered constantly about eating it, you know?
i'm glad the healthy thing is working out for you though. you really need something going right for you right now.
