i have this assignment for my creative imaging class, where i have to design a hang tag for a pair of guy's pants. they can be any fit, any style. the target audience is aged 20-35.
i know next to nothing about the desires of guys with their pants, nor how guys think when shopping, so boys, please help enlighten me.
the results are viewable only to me so as not to taint answers. (girls, if you wanna be nice and help, sending some boys this way to answer this would be great).

how important is fit/material?

what style of pants do you most often wear?
when you're wearing a pair of pants that fits you well, how does i make you feel (adjectives would be nice)?
what to you, does a pair of pants have to accomplish (ie. stand up to work, attract chicks, etc)?
what makes you actually pick up a pair of pants to buy them?
oh hey, and if anyone has any good brand names for the pants in question, i'll gladly hear them out.
I'm not filling the entire poll out because a sentence or two won't really work.
I don't really wear a certain style of pants more than another; I wear Dickies sometimes, Army pants sometimes, as well as jeans, camo shorts, and corduroys (Hope I spelled that right). I don't wear dress pants, or Dockers, crap like that, and I hope I never have to again.
As far as how they make me feel, I'm just glad I have pants to cover my nonexistant ass. Pants have never affected my mood, or make me feel like I look good, bad, or otherwise.
Pants have to...fit. And have belt loops for my wallet chain, and pockets for my keys, chap stick, cigarettes, and other stuff I put in pockets if the situation arises.
I buy most of my clothes at Goodwill. I like old pants. All I've had now are at least a year old. What makes me pick up a pair, aside from fit, is the fact that I know I'll still like them a few years later, even if they're worn down and have holes in them.
