i reupholstered my jacked up seat today!
yay for not having to pick foam off my pants anymore!
back in the summer i skinned a passenger side seat from a wagon in a junkyard. i just unbolted the seat, took off the rails and seatbelt stuff, clipped off the upholstery rings and then attached the new one with some rings. i had to cut a few holes in it because it was a passenger seat and i was putting it on a driver's seat. it took maybe 2 hours to do.
i'm still learning as i go. i'm mostly learning how to fix shit out of necessity, because i'm all broke. right now, i don't think i could trust someone else to work on my car though, unless i'm out there watching what they do.
Okay, I'll buy a bike or something and pimp it out because god knows I won't get a car soon.
Actually, they have this bike at work with like, chopper styled handlebars, purple velvet covers for the handlebars, purple velvet seats, whitewall tires, and the frame is chrome with stars all over it.
It's such a badass bike, hahaha.
