michael just told me that he loves me :P

michael: hey, alicia. this is michael. i was just wondering if you've had time to pull those pictures off
me: oh yeah, i finished that last night
micheal: i love you. you're so on top of things.
me: :D

making good impressions makes me happy!

i'm taking this weekend off from working on the theater... giving myself a nice clean break from it. i'll pick it back up sunday. i've been doing various webdesign things thus far this weekend. i was supposed to help kelly today with her portfolio, but she got a flat and couldn't make it. maybe monday.

cellphone stuff:
i have the office theme on my cellphone, but it's not available to use as a ringtone :\ it's there in my "get tunes and tones" library, but not there when i go to callsounds->ringtones. anyone with verizon care to explain to me how to beat the system and actually be able to use this ringtone?

Current Mood:

The ringtones file format depends on the make and model of your phone. My Samsung SGH-S307 uses .mmf files, f'rinstance. I just went and found a free utility that converts .wav to .mmf so I could make my own custom ringtones. The one I have now is that red phone in the old James Coburn movies "Our Man Flint" and "The President's Analyst".

Maybe there's a limit in how big the file can be or something. What's the brand and model of your phone?

"The following newer phones don't work because they do not allow you to save downloaded songs as ringtones. (It's a bummer, because they are really nice phones... other than that ):

LG VX5200
LG VX8100
LG VX9800
Motorola V260
Motorola V710
Motorola E815 (some work, some don't, so give it a try)
Samsung A850
Samsung A950"

Im thinking about buying this phone for a friend, and i was wondering if you could email ringtones to the phone via pix messaging no verizon? and does this phone support mp3 ringtones? are there any other samsung phones where u can still email ringtones via pix messaging? my friend is partial to samsung phones, but im not to familiar with them, but i was wondering about the a850 and mp3 ringtones on it in particular...

thanks in advance for any help

yes you can email ringtones, but you cannot set them as ringtones...sounds wierd i know but that's the way the file system is in the phone itself. And the ringtoines in it are .Mp3 or .QCP formats"

If you have access to the phones' file system via a USB cable and can get to wherever it stores its ringtones you can work around this limitation, otherwise it looks like you're SOL.

Mine came with one as well as a utility that lets me add wallpapers and ringtones, among other things. Maybe there's such an accessory kit available for your phone too?
